Today’s podcast will be a continuation of last week’s podcast where we had each department tell us about their Legacy summer programs. But there are many more things that we can do to prepare for a really fun, yet instructionally relevant and engaging summer in a city as large and exciting as the Dallas area and its suburbs. And many of these events are low cost or free!
We will look at what the cities of Dallas, Plano, and Mesquite have to offer by visiting their online city pages with their summer event calendars. We will also look the the city libraries of these cities, checking their events and their summer reading challenges.
Dr. Good will also introduce a summer budget challenge for parents! Stay tuned and learn more about this financial literacy opportunity!
Do not let the problem of summer slide (loss of math and reading skills) impact your child(ren)! Listen to hear of the many enjoyable ways your child can continue to grow his/her academic skills while having the best summer ever!

We have included the links to the city activity guides in the post to make your search even easier!
